Affiliate Links
Some articles on BHTNews contain affiliate links. If you click one and buy a product or sign up for a service, we may earn a commission from the company. It doesn’t change the price you pay.
Where an article contains affiliate links, we say so near the top of the article, before the first link. We mark affiliate links with rel=”sponsored” or rel=”nofollow” so search engines know they’re commercial.
Our Independence
Affiliate programs and advertisers don’t decide what we write, which products we include, or how we rank them. We don’t accept payment for a positive review or a higher position in a comparison. If an article includes a company that has paid us or given us something, we say so in that article.
What We Test and What We Don’t
We don’t claim to have used every product we write about. Our articles fall into two kinds:
- Research-based guides and comparisons. We read the vendor’s pages, documentation, independent reviews, and other sources, and compare what they say. We label vendor claims as vendor claims, give prices with dates, and say where sources disagree. When we haven’t tested a product, the article says so.
- Hands-on reviews. We only describe personal use when we actually used the product, and we say what we did and for how long.
Prices, features and plans change often. Check the company’s own page before you buy.
Sponsored Content and Guest Posts
We handle sponsored content separately from editorial articles. Any sponsored post is clearly labeled as sponsored at the top, and its links use rel=”sponsored”.
Guest posts are chosen on quality, not payment. Contributors get a byline and a short bio with one link, which carries rel=”nofollow”. See our Write For Us page for the full rules.
Advertising
We may show ads on BHTNews through third-party ad networks. Those companies may use cookies to show ads. Ads are separate from our editorial content, and advertisers don’t see or approve articles before they’re published. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
Free Products and Services
If a company gives us a product, trial, access, or payment for travel or time, we disclose it in the article. A free product doesn’t earn a company a favorable review.
Results and Earnings
Some articles discuss ways to make or save money. We can’t promise any particular result. Outcomes depend on your situation, skill, effort, and market conditions, and past results from us or anyone else don’t guarantee future results.
