What We’re Looking For

Before you send us your article, make sure it checks all the boxes below. We take quality seriously, and so do our readers.

Content Quality

  • Everything you submit needs to be original and unpublished — no recycled posts or AI-written content.
  • At least 1,200 words. For in-depth guides and tutorials, shoot for 1,500 to 2,500 words.
  • Your article should have a clear intro, make sense from start to finish, and end strongly.
  • Back up claims with data, studies, or solid sources.
  • Write for real people, not robots — keep it engaging and easy to follow, and avoid too much jargon.

SEO & Formatting

  • Use your target keyword in the first paragraph and throughout the article (but keep it natural).
  • Break up your content with H2 and H3 headings. No giant walls of text.
  • Include a meta description (150–160 characters) and an SEO title suggestion.
  • Recommend at least one internal link and cite any external sources you use.
  • Add a “People Also Ask” section with 3–5 quick answers to common questions.
  • Include an FAQ section at the end — aim for questions that go after long-tail keywords.

Tone & Style

  • Be the expert, but stay approachable and respect your reader’s time.
  • Stick to the active voice. Skip the stiff, corporate talk.
  • Use contractions — made for conversation, not a textbook.
  • No self-promotion in the article itself. If you want to mention your brand, save it for your bio.

What We Don’t Accept

We won’t review these:
X Anything written by or spun through AI (we check)
X Duplicates or republished work from somewhere else
X Short, shallow articles under 1,000 words without new ideas
X Keyword stuffing — write for humans, not algorithms
X Purely promotional content or anything that reads like an ad
X Topics outside Business, AI, Technology, or Reviews
X More than 2 outbound links in your article body
X Any links to gambling, adult, payday loan, or sketchy SEO sites

What’s In It For You?

Here’s what you get when your post is approved:
• Your byline, photo, and a short bio on every article
• One dofollow link in your bio to your website, portfolio, or LinkedIn
• Your article shared on our social channels
• Light edits and formatting from our editorial team
• The chance to reach a community interested in Business, Health, and Tech

How to Submit a Guest Post

Follow these steps, or we won’t review your submission:

  1. Pitch first. Send us 2–3 sentences describing your topic. Include your headline idea, target keyword, and a short outline.
  2. Wait for our reply. We respond to pitches in 3–5 business days. If we greenlight your idea, we’ll send guidelines and any extra notes.
  3. Submit your draft. Use Google Docs (give us comment access) or a .docx file. Include your meta title, meta description, and a short (50–80 word) author bio.
  4. Editorial review. We’ll check your draft within 7 business days. Expect either feedback for edits or a heads-up that it’s moving forward.
  5. Publication. Once scheduled, we’ll let you know the go-live date and share the final link.

Just so you know: We reserve the right to edit your article for clarity, grammar, SEO, and length. We might update or remove published pieces when needed. When you submit, you’re giving BHTNews.com the rights to publish your work on our platform.

Is guest posting on BHTNews.com free?

Yes, standard contributor submissions are completely free. We accept guest posts based on quality and relevance, not payment.

Can I submit an article I’ve already published on my own blog?

No. We only accept 100% original content that has not been published anywhere else, including your own website, Medium, LinkedIn, or any other platform.

How many links can I include in my article?

You may include a maximum of 2 outbound links (Nofollow) within the article body. These must link to credible, authoritative sources relevant to the topic — not to your own site. You will also receive one dofollow link in your author bio.

Do you accept AI-generated content?

No. All submissions are checked with AI detection tools. Articles flagged as AI-generated or AI-spun, will be declined without review. We expect content written from genuine human experience and expertise.

How long does the review process take?

We review pitches within 1-2 business days. Once a full draft is submitted, editorial review takes up to 7 business days. We will notify you either way.

Can I submit to multiple categories?

Yes. If you have expertise across more than one of our verticals (Business, AI, Technology, Reviews), you are welcome to pitch topics in different categories. Each pitch is reviewed independently.

Will you edit my article before publishing?

Yes. Our editorial team may make light edits for grammar, clarity, formatting, and SEO before publication. We will not change the core meaning or your voice without consulting you first.

Can I include a link to my product or service in the article body?

No. Promotional links within the article body are not permitted. Your author bio is the appropriate place for one link to your website, product, or portfolio.

Do you notify me when my article goes live?

Yes. Once your article is published, we will send you the live URL so you can share it with your audience.

What happens if my submission is rejected?

We will let you know if your pitch or draft does not meet our guidelines. In some cases, we may suggest revisions. We do not hold rejected topics exclusively, so you are free to pitch them elsewhere.

Can I update or remove my article after it is published?

Minor factual corrections can be requested by emailing our editorial team. However, BHTNews.com retains the right to keep published content live as part of our archive.

Do you accept sponsored posts or paid placements?

We handle sponsored content separately from editorial guest posts. If you are interested in a sponsored placement, mention it clearly in your email, and we will share our rates and guidelines.
